WOMEN'S FALL RUN - MONTHLY FUNDRAISER

REGISTER NOW
Participate to make a difference!
Need a reason to exercise and play basketball while supporting a good cause?
g.a.b offers a Women's Basketball Run for ages 18 and older.  All proceeds fund and support our youth programs.

When you register, you are directly supporting a young girl in the development of her confidence in order to make healthy decisions about her future.  Getting your own workout and helping a young girl is a win-win!  No other organization can promise that!

WOMEN'S FALL RUN FUNDRAISER
Once a month: October 22, 2026, November 12, 2026 & December 3, 2026 from 8:00pm - 9:00pm, women will come together and play basketball for exercise for 1 hour. Teams will be formed each month, so players will get a chance to play with different people.

For showing up each week on time to play will guarantee yourself an award at the end of the fall season. If you miss a month or show up late, you automatically are disqualified from obtaining an award on December 3.

*This is not a league, rather a basketball run for exercise that rewards attendance and raising money for our youth programs - not winning*. Our goal is to build a culture of enjoying the game of basketball without getting hurt and building camaraderie with like-minded women athletes.

Run Format:
  • Half-court 4 vs 4 runs
  • 4 minutes warm-up
  • Two, 12-minute halves run-time per game
  • 1 time-out per half, no stop time.  Can't use time out in the last 3 mins of the 2nd half
  • 2 minutes half-time
  • Two runs per night
  • Refereed run

Fees:
The early bird fee is $20 per game day, regular $25. Price goes up 1 week before game day.

Former g.a.b members will pay the fee of $15. A g.a.b member is defined as having been registered to at least one of our programs as a child/youth since 2005.  A child/youth is defined as 17 years old and younger.

Location:
Senator O'Connor College High School located at 60 Rowena Drive, Toronto, ON, M3A 3R2. Free parking on site.
Established July, 2005.
