g.a.b welcomes post-secondary students who wish to use g.a.b as their short-term placement for their Business Marketing, Fashion and Teacher Education cooperative programs from College or University. We have 3 - 6 month placements for students to utilize their skills and apply them here at g.a.b.
Our Needs
The following are a list of cooperative opportunities for post-secondary students to explore:
Business Marketing: We are looking for a candidate who can take our mission and create a marketing strategy that will generate excitement in order to draw in more participants. The successful candidate will have to create and implement a plan that not only creates a lasting brand awareness in the minds of all who hear about g.a.b, but also develop creative solutions to implement through social media.
Fashion: We are looking for a candidate who can take our mission and create a clothing line and accessory pieces to aid in our fundraising initiatives to support our youth. The successful candidate will have to research and design a g.a.b exclusive portfolio that includes fit and fabric samples.
Teacher Education: We are looking for a candidate who can take our mission and create interactive lesson plans for youth to engage and get excited about careers in health and business. The successful candidate will have to liaise and form partnerships with Human Resource Managers within Toronto to create job shadowing opportunities for our youth to participate in. In addition, the candidate must design and implement interview and job training workshops.
All interested candidates should contact us to find out how and when to apply.
