Our organization strongly believes in post-secondary education and knows the financial pressure a student faces.  In November 2016, we started a scholarship fund to raise money to assist our girls in pursuing their academic career goals while they give back to basketball in some capacity. We are honoured to have the support of TD Bank Group to help our girls pursue their career goals!
SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA:
g.a.b scholarships are open to any girl who:
  1. Has participated in at least one of our youth programs or events.
  2. Currently is in her first year at a Canadian University or College as of September 1st, 2025  Must attach proof of enrolment from your school's registrar's office.
  3. Had a minimum overall grade 12 average of 70%. 
  4. Has demonstrated community leadership by volunteering at events or programs related to basketball.  Preference will be given to those who volunteered with g.a.b.
  5. Continues to demonstrate a love for basketball by either playing on a varsity basketball team, playing basketball intramurals or supporting the game through coaching, reffing, volunteering or is able to demonstrate a committed desire to continue with basketball while in their first year at College or University.
  6. Eligible award winners must be available to receive the award during our April - June, 2026 program.
