​The Program
Train to Play is designed for girls who want to learn, develop and improve their basketball skills in a team dynamic.  Train to Play is an 8-week, once a week program that focuses on reading and attacking offensive and defensive sets in the half-court.

​Participants will learn more about movement, setting screens, using screens and reading the defense.  Each week participants will be trained for 1.5 hours on team skills, a life-skill session and team play.
​
​Two Sessions: Fall & Spring​
This program is offered on the following days for the following age groups:


Fall Program on THURSDAYS:
​October - December. This is for girls who are 13-18 year olds (grade 8-12).


Spring Program on TUESDAYS:
March 25, 2025 - June 10, 2025.  This is for girls who are 9-12 year olds (grade 4-7).
Blackout dates: April 15 & 29, May 13 & 27


Time  
Fall Program: 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Spring Program: 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Equipment
Size 6 basketballs will be on site for participants to use.  Participants need to wear active clothing and running shoes (t-shirts, shorts, jogging pants, etc.).

Location
​The program will be taking place inside Senator O'Connor College School Gymnasium located at 60 Rowena Drive, Toronto, ON, M3A 3R2.

Parking
Parking is available on site for free.  Please avoid parking in front of the doors or you will be subject to a parking ticket.

​Cost
The cost is now $145 thanks to Toyota on the Park (regular $215).

Financial Help:
If any family needs financial support, we have sponsors to help offset some of the fees. Our sponsors will require a letter of participation from your child/children at the end of the program as proof for their support. Contact us to learn more, we are happy to help!
