Program Details
"Get Outside And Train” is an 8 week outdoor program to get girls moving again, while getting fresh air for 55mins. It is designed for girls between the ages of 11– 18 who want to learn, develop and enhance their basketball skills. There is no try-out to become a participant and size 6 basketballs are supplied for the program. If the weather is still cold outside, we will be offering the program indoor for that day. |
Program Breakdown
Participants will be assembled into a division based on skill level and placed in a group with a maximum of 10 participants. Each group will have a Coach training the participants at a designated outdoor court.
Skill Development Division
This division is for girls who are just learning about the game and want to learn and improve on their skill. Development training will be on Court 1 & 2.
Skill Enhancement Division
This division is for girls who want to improve upon their existing skills at a competitive level. Enhancement training will be on Court 3 & 4.
Length of Program
The “Get Outside And Train” program is every Thursday for 1 hour, over a period of 8 weeks starting Thursday April 21 - June 16, 2022. We are offering two of the same sessions to encourage more girls to participate. When registering, you must pick one session for the duration of the 8 weeks. If you miss your registered session time, you cannot arrive for the second session.
