FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
What if I am over 29 years old?
You are welcome to still participate, with a donation of $20 cash per Saturday session. The cash donated will go directly to our "Sponsor a Child" fund for our youth programs. You must bring ID to verify your age.
Can I bring my brother/friend/child/pet?
This event is for women only who are at least 18 years of age as of June 16, 2024.
What if I am 17 but will be turning 18 in June, will I be able to participate?
You must be 18 as of June 16, 2024 to participate. ID will be checked before entering your session.
I forgot my waiver, can I still join?
Yes! We will have some copies available to sign-off. This will delay your start to your session though.
I forgot my ID, can I still join?
No! If we can't verify your age, unfortunately you will not be able to participate. Only original ID card in hand are acceptable. No digital copies.
Am I allowed to join two sessions of physical activity instead of a wellness activity on the same Saturday?
No! The goal is to experience something different - especially while it's free. This is why we offer 4 Saturdays, so you can experience a different physical activity each Saturday.

I signed up for the 9am-11am session, but I arrived for 10am missing the physical activity. Will I be able to still participate in the 10am-12:00pm session so I can get my physical activity?
It depends. If there is room, you are welcome to participate. If we are full, you will miss out on your physical activity.
I signed up twice for Session I & Session II on the same Saturday, is that allowed?
No. If there is double registration, we will only take your first submission. If we see that you did it again, you will not be invited back to our event. Our event is free and is based on a first-come, first-served registration. By signing up for two spots, you are taking up space for another women to join. Errors happen, but if we see a pattern then you will be removed from our event altogether.
Can I register for all 4 Saturdays?
Yes! We encourage repeat participants to register for one fit & flow session for all 4 Saturdays! In fact, there is a prize for those who do!
Is there parking at the school?
Yes! There is free parking. The lot can hold about 50 cars. Parkway Mall is a 10-15 minute walk from the school, so you can also park there.
Will I be able to use the showers at the school?
No! While there are showers in the change rooms, the water pumps have been turned off permanently. Do bring your own towel to "take a fresh" while in the washroom.
Will I be able to purchase food on site?
There is no formal food vendor on site. There are nearby restaurants at both Parkway Mall & Victoria Terrace Shopping Centre. Do pack a light snack.
Will I be able to buy merchandise on site?
Yes! There will be different vendors on site. A list will be sent to your emails in order to prepare.
Can I re-fill my water bottle?
Yes! There are two areas to re-fill your water bottles. There are two water fountains available if you forget your water bottle.
I don't have a Yoga mat, but I still want to join. Will there be extra mats?
Yes! We will have mats to use, but we advise that you bring your own towel to place overtop.
I haven't played basketball in a long time, but I am interested. Will I be ok to join?
Yes! The session leader will work with all levels of playing ability and will maximize your strengths.
I am not as fit as I would like to be, would the fitness bootcamp be too hard for me?
No! The session leader will work with all fitness levels and demonstrate techniques that will fit your level.
I don't believe in this "flow" session stuff. Do I have to stay for the full hour?
The goal of "fit & flow" is to have an experience - to explore something new. We certainly encourage you to stay, even if it's 15 minutes but if you have to go, then you're free to do so.
Why can't I register more than one Saturday?
We open up registration about 2 weeks before the event date. This ensures a higher turnout rate as planning too far in advance for a "free" event often leads to a cancellation when "something comes up". We have capacity limits for each activity and want to ensure we have active participation.
